To use Action Replay for Xbox you’ll need access to a PC with Windows 98 or higher.

Its works by saves. Games that use offfline porfiles like Uc might have a problem.Probably possible to make it possible to make the tag rifle you starting weapon lol.

The xbox needs a device that will let gamers download extra content from ´live´ without a broadband conection. I can´t justify the expense for live an the moment but would love to play the new splinter cell level.
If this device would allow me to do that, then cool. Why doesn´t microsoft make one?

I can´t see what is wrong with it. I am bored of XBL anyway so it don´t really matter to me about that but this will extend all of my old games. Cheat cartridges open up old games and I think it is great.
I agree, anyone who uses this though before a game is totally completed or to unlock stuff that would take effort then they are cheating bastards who should be forced to make love to Saddam (sorry, watching south park the movie :-D ).

Blegh, it´s not going to ruin live, it doesn´t even appear to be a good cheat device. What, oh what happened to the days when you could use a cheat device without all of this hassle? I don´t remember hooking up my C64 to my NES Game Genie to get space jumps in Mega Man 2. Yeesh.
Anyhoo, I was planning on getting one for Halo, but now that the PC version is coming out with normal PC controls, I really don´t need it, same with Splinter Cel.

Cheat devices should be used just like regular sweets.....sparingly. They can mess up a good thing if used in the wrongs hands....case study PSO V1. Need I say more on that one ? Anyway, maybe I should get back to cheat devices...its been a long time since I used a cheat device anyway !!

How about as a transfer device for the new Xbox Linux Lite...?
Using 007 Agent Under Fire and a UUencoded game save, some people have found a way to execute Linux on an Xbox without using a modchip.

To all the people hoping it doesn´t work on Xbox Live (or XBConnect), it won´t. Actually, it will, but ONLY if everyone in the game has the exact same cheats turned on. If not, network connection will be lost.

Pot man is right, it seems that this is just a fancy-pants memory manager rather than a true cheat device. Too bad, I was looking forward to moon jumping all over Halo.
You anti-cheating guys should open your minds a little. these devices are not just to beat the game because you havent got the skills. I have no trouble beating the games but, after laying down 40-50$ its nice to be able to go back and continue having fun with the game by tweaking the program and finding new ways to enjoy it. Not to mention what I have learned about programming just by learning to use the devices to thier potential.
