Super Monkey Ball Deluxe Coming to Xbox |

SEGA of America announced the development of Super Monkey Ball Deluxe, which will bring SEGA's the arcade series to the Xbox for the first time and the PlayStation 2. The new title will feature 300 stages (114 from Super Monkey Ball, 140 from Super Monkey Ball 2, and 46 Deluxe-exclusive boards), and will be available in early 2005.
In addition to new stages, Super Monkey Ball Deluxe will offer a new Challenge mode, integrating varying skill settings (Beginner, Advanced, and Expert) into one fluid ramp up, rather than breaking them out as independent gameplay sections. There will also be additional stages in the story mode. All twelve of the party games from Super Monkey Ball 1 & 2 are also to be included.
"Super Monkey Ball has been a fan favorite since its introduction on the Nintendo GameCube in 2001," said Scott A. Steinberg, vice president of entertainment marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. "We're pleased to finally make this unique, broadly accessible franchise available to gamers across all platforms."
Effectively two-and-a-half retail games on one disc, this "E" rated value-packed product will retail in early 2005 for only 29.95 MSRP.

wow, thats alot of game for 30 bucks!!, this was one of the titles that almost made me get a gamecube.... but i didnt, and now, i'm rewarded for not getting one... cool, now if sega will just bring over the 'skies of arcadia' seires, i'd be so happy

This game ROCKS.
Don't knock it till you try it. It's insanely addictive. Quite colorful too and the chicks are at least willing to try it unlike the games mentioned by a previous poster.

Monkeyball is one the most addictive and fun games out there. I know more than a few people who've hung on to their GC because if this title and no xbox game comes close for an all ages, both sexes party fest.
Give it a chance and take your head out of the FPS/Racer clouds.
We have 40 f***ing FPS games and Racers on the xbox now.
Give playability a chance!!
