New Screens and Video From World Racing 2: Forza Challenger |

TDK Mediactive has released the very first video footage showing in-game sequences of its upcoming racing game World Racing 2 taken directly from the current development version. The video gives a first impression of the current status of the development process and introduces the enhanced 3D landscape engine, new scenarios and various car models that will be available in the game.
Fans of World Racing may spot oncoming traffic in the video, which will be one of the new features in World Racing 2.
World Racing 2 will put the fun of driving at centre stage and offer optimised arcade racing characteristics, a rich and varied range of mission modes, lively scenarios, enhanced tuning options and a great variety of integrated cars. World Racing 2 is currently scheduled to be released in 2005 for Xbox, PC and PlayStation2.

quite the sim when you do a unrealistic jump across a bridge.... like in the trailer, it may look nice but I have a feeling it won't have very good gameplay...

It will not be a realistic sim, the first World Racing from TDK was horrible. The graphics, tracks and cars looked pretty good, but the gomeplay was just bad. TDK Interactive hasn't release any good games, not just as of late. This game would fall into a rental, do not buy it until you play it.

The problem was the first World Racing wasn't fun to play. They were trying to be somewhat realistic in the handling and arcadey at the same time, when in fact that should have settings that allow people (us the gamers) to choose what we want.
