As the clock continues to tick down the site began to change, heck there isn't even a clock anymore but a lil bunny on an everlasting journey around a hoop centered in the middle. The Xbox 360 logo appears on the bottom left and sound options on the bottom right. It's time my friends.

From the lovely, beautiful, cutey Zoose from Holland we received information on what us U.S. gamers can expect very, very soon. [e-mail me if you want a pic of her ;)]

When the loading screen was done, a tree appeared with flags from all over Europe. Suddenly you hear this weird tune and two new holes appear next to the tree which are clickable.
A big rabbit and a small one also pop out and begin telling a story. It's a site where your game fantasies come true, the Big Rabbit (called 'Boss') says, and that you can win prizes by answering questions & to feed the little bunny with sparkling fruit growing on the tree.
When you click on the orange fruit, they sparkle and the little bunny (called 'Didier') eats it while getting this hippy, stoned reaction. The big Rabbit, said the little Didier gets visions when he eats the fruit, to find his way to the land of Origen. After this the animation restarts itself.
Our guess it that Origen is a Preview Xbox 360 event that is being held in October and this is Microsoft giving you the opportunity to go there if you haven't been selected already. Our own forum members, Grendel and Thundermoonkey have already been pre-selected to attend this event, which is being held both in San Francisco and in New York. But hey, what do we know ;)
We'll have more information as it's being spit to us currently.

Yes, that does blow that the US and Canada are not in the running. I guess they want to boost their sales in those countries. The game show in Toyko did boost their numbers of Japaneese wanting to purchase the Xbox 360, according to the new numbers it went from 6% to 22%. The videos from that show of the games are awesome. I would go over to www.gametrailers.com and get the HD versions. They even talk about the new Live features and the dashboards in detail.

Man, I'm not mad at Microsoft for me getting my hopes up so high. What I am mad at is all of this was for only two prizes for the entire world(minus the US and Canada). *sigh* now whats next to look forward to X05. Thats whats really going to be good.

MICROSOFT has been harking on about its Origen viral marketing campaign for a while now, sending us a rather confusing press release last night and launching the rather acid-fuelled website this afternoon, ending months of speculation.
Xbox 360 fans were going nuts to try and figure out what Origen was, with hints that it might be anything from the announcement of Halo 3 through the launch of Xbox 360 stores in major cities around the world. The truth, as revealed today in what could be considered either an ingenious or just extremely annoying website it turns out is somewhat less glamorous.
Origen is in fact a competition to go and play the Xbox 360 before everyone else. They could have just stuck a few golden tickets n crisp packets, but ohh no, they had to get a few web designers at a rave party and see what they could come out with…

Well I have to say that is slightly dissappointing. I understand the reason for it but it would have been nice to see a little American flag on that tree.

Guess no one noticed that only two fruit have been changed and eaten. Maybe every week now we'll see what the other three fruit clusters represent, assuming the first fruit represent the European contest.

The Coding on the Website is and always was Western Europe, so why would it have anything to do with Halo 3, or HD-DVD, or anything about a game, why did everyone blow this up so much, SPOILER the 4+5 spots is a tournament being held on halo 2 with double team matchmaking to determine the 4+5 spots, IN EUROPE not here. the event is going to be at the end of october, kiosks will be in your local GameStops early November, the Halo 2 upgrade annoucement is coming friday the 30th of Sept. SPOILER Halo 2 is already encoded in 360 code, the first 360 download for it will be the upscaler software to 720 p for halo 2, Forza
