Xbox 360 in Black? |

An interesting concept photo has been born, showing off a sleek black version of the Xbox 360 system. Keep in mind that Microsoft's beta kits were wearing black not too long ago. So is it possibile we could see a batman like Xbox 360 as well?
Given Microsoft's history of the Xbox system we would have to say sure. After all the original Xbox's developer kits were a transparent green and Microsoft later released a similiar design in the form of a Limited Edition Halo 2 system.

Also of note are the limited edition Panzer Dragoon systems which came in white with some artistic designs as the icing. So far Microsoft have not confirmed or even talked about different colors. Their main focal point on customizing the look of the system has always been the face plates that will be available around the launch of the system later this year.
Though to think that Microsoft would limit their color to just white - forever would be quite a ridiculous claim, right? I mean just take a look at the competitors and what their doing.
Both Sony's Playstation 3 and Nintendo's Revolution have already shown that they aim to go multi-colored. Would Microsoft want it's competitors to have that style benefit? I sure hope not.

Bring on the Limited Edition Xbox365 version as well, a big fat 5 on the top would do just fine. Make it happen baby.

At @!*% I thought white would be superior to black....but damn that thing looks so sexy...I don't know now!
I really would prefer the cover for the 360 to be removable like the faceplate so you could get matching schemes. To limit the customization to just the faceplate is kind of, well, lame.

If you remember when the fisrt xbox came out, the bata kit was different, and they were saying they might come out with the same thing. But did not. Don't get your hopes up freinds. Microsoft did say they would releae the same system at launch. No different types. They said this b/c they say that they did not want on package 360 to sell and another not to sell. Which makes sense. If on system sells out, people will not settle for the other package and wait for the one they want. Which equals less sells. lol

The black consul looks amaizing. I gotta believe that it is unnofficial though.
If I had a choice I would pick the black. A lime green might be nice too, I bet i would get sick of a bright color like that though pretty quick.

Look, trust me, if Microsoft wanted to release a black version of 360, they would have showed it by now, especially if it's coming out early November. I wouldn't want a black one, anyway. It's not the shiney black people want, and think about the faceplates. It will be harder to find a cool faceplate to match a black xbox360.

Oh puuuuleeeezzzz , imagine one of those faceplates with the black unit casing...that would look stellar. But also like you just said I would think that MS would have already gave us a hint by now......but I also wont deny that the former Xbox's dev kits where green and then they relased that green transparent Xbox which looked awesome(to say the least). But I dont know for certain though, maybe they'll release the black unit after the initial launch of the white unit. The Red Revolution looks great, as well as the green one. The white Ps3 looks okay, I hope the graphics will be okay , in respect to their fans. It would be rather catastrophic to the gaming industry if the PS3 totally spazzed out and the Xbox360 didnt perform up to snuff....I shudder to think what would become of that.
