Actually Grendel the people just know something good when they see it, as with the original Xbox. You see the Xbox's capabilities were that much better than the Play Station 2's and the Game Cube and seeing how Microsoft Is actually setting the standards for the next generation of game consoles they're all putting their money with the company that did best so it's more less that they want a good product then just being a fanboy.

The PS3 has twice the processing power of the X-box 360. The plain and simple truth is that Microsoft is releasing their next console WAY too early, trying to compete with playstation. Thus, they're going to be blown out of the water by the PS3.

well all i've got to say to that one is look at Gears of War for the Xbox 360 it looks twice as good as the new Kill Zone 2. And as far as technical specs go the Xbox 360 is winning but the Play Station 3 is stealing it's ideas, ie the HD, wireless controls, online service, and the fact that Microsoft is making it's system fully High Def. which until the E3 or even the MTV showing Sony wasn't doing that so they thought they'd show their money by buying Blue-Ray discs....so all in all the PS3 is just trying to keep up and copy the Xbox 360. oh and guest if you don't like what people are posting don't read it! lol because this does say www.xbox365.com not www.sony365.com so all you're prolly going to find here are xbox fans well with the exception of visitors like yourself. Maybe the other way around, because the hard drive was a planned add on from the launch of the PS2. Nintendo started the wireless controllers trend, and then Sony and MS contracted Logitech to make wireless controllers for their respective systems.

Yeah the Killzone demo was CG wasnt it ? That also means it more than likely wasnt REAL gameplay..dont worry I have a feeling after seeing Ghost Recon 3 and Gears of War it probably wont impress anyone that much if any. Well, if Xbox 360 comes out November 4th, that'd be great. It gives alot of kids time to work over the summer, and get the 360 as soon as possible. I've also seen on Ebay that some guy is selling his 10 pre-ordered 360's for 249.99, and that he bought then MSRP 299.99. Which means.........it'l be 299.99. I can't wait. 360 should definitely own the gaming war this time around. Please Sony fanboys....what would you rather do, spend 300 bucks on a system with inferior online, games, and over-all interface, AND a 20 gig HD? Or would you spend 400 bucks (plus 20,000 on 2 HDTV's like Sony wants you to) for a system that only has the specs and still shjowed no online or great games. Erm...let me make this clear for you Z0ink the original Idea for a built in HD came from sega (ie CD) grant it wasn't Microsoft but they perfected it and once again sega started the wireless controllers (ie the genesis) but yet who's using them first for a standard controller...hmmm...oh yeah i think it's Microsoft....yeah that's right and True Sony might have made the Blue-Ray capabilities but they have to pay another company to make the drives (i know shame on me i should have worded it more correctly). And yet those discs may hold more information, it's still more convenient to use standard DVD discs so that the programmers don't have to fill the disc with loaded down crap they can just make the game and be happy...oh yeah now that i'm done cutting that guy open and pissing in his wound i'll give you a little history lesson for today....Did you know that the Play Station was originally made for Nintendo?....Yes indeed it was, it was supposed to be Nintendo's first CD system because they had a contract with Sony to make it for them but at the last second pulled right out from under Sony. So to make a long story short Sony was pissed about that, so that's why they are making video game consoles.

6. Best Selling game: Grand Theft Auto S.A. (oh yeah that's a big accomplishment...*sarcastic laugh*)...it's only on Xbox too lol....oh wait this was for the PS2 lol my bad guess this is the top 5 list but still Sony has nothing over Microsoft i'm telling you.

I can almost tell you how it plays...just like the predeccesor's games. Halo 3 should play like Halo 2, Project Gotham 3 should play as Project Gotham(much like MSR(Metropolis Street Racer) played on the DC, much like the renamed Xbox titles). The main thing now is just what its gonna look like, and if those ARE ACTUAL screens for PG3, then we all as gamerz(those who actually gets the X360 that is) are in for a wunnerful treat !! Perfect Dark however, mind you will pretty much be the same type of game like the N64 one, but it wont have the Goldeneye team(Free Radical) making it, so I'd say thats rather sketchy IMO. So pretty much I am not worried about how it plays...just how the graphics are gonna be like.

That was a kool history lesson, but I heard it before. But I think that the Blu-Ray will be treated much like the PSP's UMD games....friggin' expensive. Also, I can imagine games for the PS3 being anywhere from $60-$80 USD. It's really quite possible with Blu-Ray's influence. So in other words the PS3 is going to be over-hyped, over-expensive, and over-done.

P.S. OnifiedX: It's not the Japaneses' fault. They've been very partial to outside influence since the 13th Century(The Fuedal ages). Just take a look back in history and see how they treated outsiders. But you can't blame them, the US lets anyone in most of the time...but it shouldnt hurt to welcome outside influence as long as it doesnt turn into a oligarchy or dictatorship. It still gets me though how Mickey Mouse and McDonald's have wormed their way into their culture.. I dont know....I wish someone would tell MS that secret.
