Yea i know, we had the trailer too but we don't do video - it'd kill the forums. But yea - EA sent us the press release - we must post it to keep them happy or else they will send out their SWAT team to rape us. And for those 56k people that aren't capable of watching them trailer thingies. |

I think both versions look the same, which is to say they both look frickin incredible. I am really excited about this game. I love Fight Night. The will be some major tournament action going on with my friends when this bad boy comes out.

the graphics are pretty much the same, the only thing that makes this one look worse is the cheap animations . WTF DO U CALL THAT . THEY LOOK SO STIFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree maha, there's no difference in graffics, and I don't see any heads snapping back to register the impact of the blows
the last 2 or 3 versions of fight night had the boxers heads popping up or sideways when they got hit, I expect EA to flesh that part out before the game ships, this video was strickly a marketing tool to generate interest in the xbox community. I don't thing it reflects the final product. (hopefully)
the only difference we'll see in the xbox360 and Ps3 versions will be the amount of objects (polys) that will be displayed on screen at once. (and yes I know the Ps3 version is supposed to have different content, I'm just referring to visuals)

The game might look better on the ps3 (no idea havent checked) but you know that the game will be best played with a 360 controller and not the ps3 boomerang.

Xbox 360 graphics wont be better, that Gpu is kinda slow... Microsoft did a 360 and repeated history, did what Sony did. Hyped their systems due to the specs, in the real world the specs don't shine. The x1800x (ati) isn't as fast as the 7800 and it took them 2 months after 7800 was released. I would think it would crush the 7800 with an extra 2 months in development. And the 360 has been out. I think the x1800x can possible reflect that of the 360...
Ps3 coming out next year they have been making changes I'm sure of it. At first they said RSX runs faster than 2 6800's in SLI and now they are saying the same about The 7800GTX and if thats so then Damn RSX is going to be Crazy!. And don't forget it has The cell to back it up. They both render graphics, adding even more graphical abilities.
I don't hate Xbox. Its a great system, The king Kong game was amazing. But saying the xbox360 will have better graphics is like saying ps2 has better graphics than xbox. Considering it came out much later aswell...

You know, when pictures are usualy submitted to let 56kers look with painless waiting.. they quality of the pictures are reduced.. so really.. these pictures are blah.. low res.... sigh.. you cant compare ps3 vs xbox yet, i say wait for the dam system to come out! instead of saying some stuff you heard but can not prove! thank you and good day. happy new years ^_^

You guys... I downloaded the demo for Fight Night Round 3 last night and ... hold on.... sorry... I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. You HAVE to see this thing on an HD-TV. I have a 40" Sony XBR Tube monitor. It is the most incredible looking game I have ever seen in my life. The graphics are jawdropping. The animations are superb... remember... this is a demo and the movements may still have some tweaking to do. But there are times in the demo that the camera zooms right up to the skin of the fighters and you'd swear you were looking at a photograph of someone's sweaty skin.
There are minute details that I noticed that I haven't heard mentioned yet: There are even small dust particles floating around in the air to give it a muggy "gym-like" feel to the room. It looked so reaslistic, I could not believe what I was seeing. I never thought that these graphics would ever be possible. The fine line between games and reality are starting to become indistinguishable.
