Southpeak Interactive Announces Two Worlds Coming To Xbox 360
Genre-defining Role-Playing Game Set For Release This Spring
SouthPeak Interactive, a leading independent videogame publisher, today announced that its massive, open-ended role-playing game, Two Worlds, will be released this spring for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
Developed by Las Vegas-based TopWare Interactive and Reality Pump Studios, Two Worlds is an evolution of the role-playing genre. Combining unlimited character development and fierce, spectacular combat, Two Worlds brings a new kind of gameplay experience where players are encouraged to experiment with the world, test the results of good and evil deeds and find the most satisfying way to face challenges. Never before has an RPG given gamers such an unprecedented level of freedom to change the world and shape the story within it - for the first time, choices made in an RPG game are actually meaningful.

Expanding the depth of gameplay even further, Two Worlds online multiplayer action allows up to 8 people to adventure together online via Xbox Live online entertainment network. Gather with your friends and battle cooperatively, exchange equipment, or simply attack them and see who's left standing.

"Two Worlds is quickly shaping up to be an experience that sets the benchmark of what a role-playing experience can be," said Katie Morgan, Executive Vice President of SouthPeak Interactive. "We couldn't be more excited to be bringing this gargantuan title to both Windows and Xbox 360 gamers."

I'm telling u right now the gameplay can only be so "spectacular" in 3rd person mode (key examples would be "Jedi knights 2 Jedi Academy" and the "Unreal Championship" series). The key to making a game with great sword play with a combination of other elements would be to offer the players the choice of 1st person mode and 3rd person. I kno the 2 games I mentioned do that but those games were mediocre for other reasons ,, probably because the gameplay was unbalanced. A good examble of a game with great gameplay balance would be "The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion."

I know I've never played the game "Two Worlds" but , when you've played a game like oblivion you can only play games that are lesser than it , Oblivion truly is one of a kind.

oblivion could have been the end all if it included co-op but it didnt so developers will try to capitalize off their mistakes.

I think Oblivion has better art and I wouldn't be suprised if it has better everything else too. Multiplayer is the key. If I buy Two Worlds, that will be the only reason. I can't imaging improving on Oblivion too much. Multiplayer is the only way.

this game promises limited repetitiveness, something oblivion was a little rough with.

When Oblivion first came out I thought the fast travel feature was weak because I figured I wouldn't see as much cool stuff if I just fast traveled everywhere. Man, if I had to use the horse or walk everywhere I would have taken a straight razor to my neck. :)
