In reality I will be in class till 4:30, then taking a test, then home to study for my genetics test thursday, and some where in between there I need to study for the GRE which I have coming up, and then finally to bed. Man that sucks.

What I really wish I could be doing is staying in bed all day. And I mean all 24 hours of this downtime. I have always wanted to stay in bed all day when I am not sick for no good reason.

My friends and I have decided that instead of just playin halo...itd be much cooler to actually "play" halo...we have gone out and aquired numerous airsoft weapons including: a shotgun, an Ak-47, Assualt Rife, Defender "SMG", 2 Semi-Auto Desert Eagles, Sniper Rifle, and numerous other random pistols. We've decided that the hallway outside our apartment will be "Longest" and the courtyard will be Blood Gluch. We have a sweatshirt for an overshield, nerf bat as an energy sword, balls of tape for sticky grenades, tennis balls for frags, and when someone picks up invisibilty, everyone else has to put on sunglasses (playin at night). Guy with least welts wins...bring on the madness.

You could go to class or do homework instead of playing Xbox Live....

You could go see a movie at the movie theatre. Man of the Year is pretty funny (although not as good as it could have been), and if you haven't seen them yet, I highly recommend seeing Flyboys, Jet Li's Fearless, and The Protector.

If you're not into the movies currently out, then maybe you could research other movies about to come out, such as the sure-to-be-bad DOA movie, the patriotic and action-packed Flags of Our Fathers, or the sure-to-be-hilarious but controversial Borat.

Another option is that you could take in the nice weather (well, for most of us anyway) and take a walk or go to a nice restaurant. Nothing takes your mind off of Xbox like a big plate of chicken tikka masala and some garlic naan, or maybe a big bowl or cheese tortellini and some canoli for dessert, or perhaps some chicken chow foon and some orange beef from Chinatown.

Yet another option is that you can take a shower. It's a wonder what a good wash will do for your social life. Sure, you may spend most of your time conversing with people you never see in person thanks to the magic of the internet and Live, but it would be nice if the one or two people you do see in a day aren't repelled by your stench.

You could also spend a few minutes catching up on politics (not that there's much to catch up on really - same old stuff for the most part). That way, when you show up at the polls in November, you might have some clue what the ballot is talking about.

You could also turn your attention to your PC. Do you see all those pop-ups asking you to buy more porn. Odds are that your computer has spyware/adware, so go ahead and run a scan with Ad-aware, Spybot, and your favorite antivirus application. Then you can defrag the hard drive for good measure and check for any disk errors.

Once you have your computer cleaned up, you can catch up on all the neat computer things you've been missing. While you're at 360voice.com, see what your friends have been up to so that you can proclaim your superiority over them when Xbox Live is back up.

Next, you can head on down to your local mall and check out the ladies (or guys depending on your personal preference). Before you leave, be sure to spend a few minutes laughing at the Sony fanboys as they wait for their console.

When you're all done with everything, head back home and go to bed early for some extra sleep. That way, you can stay awake even more on Wednesday to make up for all the Xbox Live time you missed on Tuesday. Plus, there might just be a new Live Arcade game released on Wednesday for you to enjoy, so you better be well-rested for it.

Me and my wife will be playing some Mutand Storm Reloaded and some Dead or Alive 4. She's really good with Tina. She can give me some competition. Then later on in the evening we'll eat some nachos and play Xyanide. When I am drained and it's calm and mellow, I watch her play Texas Hold 'em...so that's pretty much my day after we get off work...and (after her ER show she recorded to watch but never got around to doing it).

I will be playing some splinter cell: CT to get back in the splinter cell swing of things, for the Double agent game that will be released tomorow, also i will try to beat Dead Rising and if i have time play through some G.R.A.W. on hard to unlock some achievements. I cleaned the dust out from under my xbox 360, tv, satellite box, dvd player, vcr, and stereo. I then went to Wal-mart and bought an Xbox Vision Camera. Now I have a clean entertainment center with my new cam just waiting for Xbox Live to come back on tomorrow!

I know I will be learning a foreign langauge possibly Arabic, Spanish, Italian, German. A whole 24 hours will lead to many people seeing sunlight for the first time since November of 2005, I know thats what I will do.

The entire last gen gaming rig and it's epic Legacy... still operable and working in fine condition after all these years have been donated to a less fortunate gamers currently residing in a downtown homeless shelter. So that they may Game,...... and,.... Game On some more, while they drown out their dispair untill their fortunes someday changes for the better.

I then shall put on my Master Chief Armor , and personally hand out over 150 xbox games to the shelter, friends, family, and game lovers all over my fair city.

Then returning to my bleak and barren home, gather up my family so we my read the prophetic promises of next gen games from back issues of the one and only OXM.

I am buying a new 360 membership, three more 360 controllers, new 360 router, several new 360 online games, and preparing to hook up the xbox 360 I just won! XBOX RULES!

With this 24 hours, I'm going to contemplate how I can create an online service that costs nothing to run, that I won't charge for, promises the world but never delivers, and seems more like an after thought then an actual plan.

Then I'm going to go start a company in Japan, start releasing random, unhelpful press releases about how the future doesn't start until I say it does.

All in 24 hours... Oh, and I'm going to stare at the blank space in my entertainment center where my Phantom console was supposed to go. Damn you truth, damn you!

What to do without Xbox live?! Man I was floored when my live didn't come on and I almost cried. I mean since I have Live I just play online and it's certain that playing with others is almost always more fun. So in light of having no Live I decided to, and I think everyone should..

Now that the bandwidth on your internet has returned to it's normal capacity for the day, why not spend the morning reading through sites and forums about Playstation. It won't take all morning to realsise WHY you chose the XBOX over the Sony, but it will make you feel better. Then you could spend the afternoon sitting properly on your chair, rather than bolt upright and catch up on all the soaps, chat shows, etc. that you have missed over the past few years. (normally takes 1 - 2 working days to fully reclaim any past history from them.) Sitting in the correct position will spread the wear on your La-Z-Boy and will lengthen it's life span too. You could also spend a few hours trying to get your parents or your little sister to clean your XBOX and tidy your bedroom.
In the evening, take a long hot bath to relax yourself to the point that you will feel ready for your bed (probably the first time you will have been in bed before 3am for some time.)
Et Voila - you wake at 7am & the nightmare is over. Back to Reality ! ----- XBOX Live has returned
