Waddup my home girl Trixie? It's been a while since you interviewed me. Ahh the irony.
Trixie:
It's funny, I just mentioned you in an interview I did with Gamertag Radio this morning.
Coola:
Oh really? You better not have said anything bad about me.
Trixie:
I said you were one of the Gamer Spotlights that stood out most.
Coola:
Why thank you. Could you tell our readers what exactly is your job title and what you do?
Trixie:
Sure. I'm the Community Lead here at Xbox.com. So I work with Major Nelson on Xbox and Xbox Live Community stuff. For instance writing the Gamer Spotlight on Xbox.com, running some contests and sweepstakes etc.
Coola:
That sounds like a kick ass job. Scratch that - That IS a kick ass job. So How did you get started working at Microsoft?
Trixie:
I've been in the games industry for a while. I worked on the PC side. Then a friend of mine left our old company for Xbox, and when a writing job opened up here she told me about it. And here I am!
Coola:
You and Major Nelson have an E3 Contest going on at Xbox.com. Care to share the details for those who live under shoe boxes and haven’t heard of it?
Trixie:
We've actually got TWO E3 contests happening this year. The first one, Major Nelson and Trixie's LA Sweepstakes, is a random sweeps for Live members only. But registration ends Friday, so hurry!
Coola:
And the Apprentice one correct?
Trixie:
Yep. The Apprentice is open until April 15. I've been getting a few really funny creative entries on that one and hundreds of boring, sucky entries.
Coola:
You hear that people, get creative! This is for a trip to E3 for god sakes. Just curious, did you get any naked photos of burds? Cause you know... I can make that happen.
Trixie:
I have yet to receive any nude fowl pix, but I will forward them to you if I get any, Coola.
Coola:
Thanks for looking out. Ok here's a serious question... Why are Xbox365 members better than Xbox.com members? Be honest now.
Trixie:
Because they read my Gamer Spotlights religiously?

Trixie:
Hmm. Good question, Lazyboy0172. You either rely on luck, or wait 'til the Mystery Gamer is playing Project Gotham Racing 2.

What would you say to the retards of the male kingdom that forget their manners on live?
Trixie:
I don't say a word. I boot them outta my game!
Coola:
Damn straight, trix don't take nothin' from nobody. Here's a sad one..

Well Dragos, I thought I made it clear that I just can't see you anymore. I can't trust myself around you. You break my heart. *sniff*
Coola:
This is a big one from someone who packs big, if you know what I mean.

Do you find it difficult, as a woman gamer, to garner any sense of respect in the gaming arena when all the attention seems to go to "unproven" gaming girls more for their looks then their talent? Examples would be ladies like Morgan Webb, and Zoe Flower. (and Trixie of course, phew, dodged a bullet there)
Trixie:
Well, first I find it odd that female gamers have to earn respect at all. Everyone on Xbox Live should be treated with respect. I don't think females should have to whip everyone's behind in order to pass muster as a 'real' gamer. And please, you love the ones who just look good.
Coola:
And now a question from a ladies man.
SuperCharlie [XF] asks:
It seems Xbox and Live is primarily a semi-hardcore gaming environment. What do you think Microsoft/Xbox should do to get more casual gamers on Live, like moms, and dads... more of the mainstream market?
Trixie:
We've got some great casual games--Xbox Live Arcade, and Trivial Pursuit are my favorites--so that's not the problem. I think some casual gamers are scared off, by people who make fun of noobs. R&R night, that Major Nelson started, is a great thing for the casual gamers that want to have fun, not get all aggravated.
Coola:
Interesting, a recent photo popped up on the internet, like not too long ago I believe. Any comments on it that wouldn't violate your NDA?
Trixie:
I haven't seen that before.
Coola:
Could you smash this rumor that this may/may not be the prototype?
Trixie:
Now Coola, you know we don't comment on rumors.
Coola:
Oh but on the contrary… Major Nelson smashed the rumor that Xbox was being pulled from store shelves.
Trixie:
Well we're not SUPPOSED to comment on rumors. Maj is a bad boy.
Coola:

If you could design a game, what would it be like?
Trixie:
I would design a game based on Neil Gaiman's Sandman series. You could play as Dream, Death, or Delerium. It would be supercool!

And of course it would be Xbox Live Enabled with Downloadable content... that was free right?? RIGHT?!?
Trixie:

My answer to Blacklabel's question is: That depends. If you mean tacos, the answer is yes. If you're being euphemistic, the answer is maybe.

In ten years Xbox Live will have taken over the entire world, and I will reign as the supreme empress over all of it!
