New Midtown Madness Cars Available - New Tracks Promised |

Microsoft Game Studios announced today the arrival of new downloadable content for the popular Xbox driving game, Midtown Madness 3. Starting today, gamers can download new car and track packs through the Xbox Live service to add to their driving experience.
Packs will be available on an ongoing basis for the next few months.
“We wanted to offer more options to ‘Midtown Madness 3’ so adding more vehicles and tracks was a natural choice,” said Adam Kovach, product manager.
This week's release kicks off a series of downloadable content packs.
Car Pack #1 is available today and includes:
· Trasher, an American muscle car
· Ambassador, a 1940s era luxury car
· Shopper, a shopping cart with a motor
· R4000, a modern sports coupe
 
Starting in November, more content will become available. Upcoming downloadable content includes two track packs, featuring 20 tracks each. The first track pack includes 10 Checkpoint and 10 Blitz tracks from Washington, D.C., with the second having 10 Checkpoint and 10 Blitz tracks from Paris.
Car Pack #2 includes:
· Furious, a two-door sports vehicle
· Carica, a sports coupe
· LastKraftWagen, a mystery vehicle

Wonder if any of the new cars are taken from the X365 competition we ran a coupla months back? the mystery vehicle sure sounds like the Mystery Machine from Scoooooby, Doooooby Dooo.

LOL the buggy looks fun......nice job of the downloadable content.......releasin it at a pretty good pace.....unlike the content for Return to Castle Wolfenstein which was actually stuff that was on the cd but was locked....boo..

I think releasing downloads in "packs" is just one step closer to charging for content. Eventually these packs will be larger, and may be worth the price if priced reasonably.
As for these downloads, I don´t have the game....played the demo and couldn´t believe how bad the driving felt....nothing like what I was expecting!

"Last Fair Deal Gone Down", you bought midnight club because it´s a hell of alot better than midtown madness which I bought,then returned(it was shit, generic and lifeless,and if you like that ,then you should enjoy the stupidest missions and characters in any game ever created, plus the driving was better in old ass crazy taxi).I concur what "somedude" said above. this is not what you think it is, rent it @!*%, shit and piss on it, then return it

Midnight Club 2 IS a better game online and off anyways...

regardless of what psychomantis said in his lame rant MM3 is a fun game. This car pack, however, is WEAK as hell and if they think I would ever pay for a lack luster effort like this they are sorely mistaken. It is painfully obvious these are just new skins slapped over an already existing car in the game. They sounds are identical to the cars the skins were dropped on. And shouldn´t a car from the 1930s be given an AOOOGA! horn? Is that so much to ask? I figure somebody with some real talent spent about two 8 hour days jammin these lame rides out for MS and we are supposed to soil ourselves over this. I´ve also heard the new "tracks" are just new checkpoint races in the already existing cities, Jee how awesome! I think the game should have had a system were the player could have placed the little checkpoint dots on the map and POOF a new checkpoint race! I would much rather have decent content that is already on the disc than this DLC crap! I never new why some morons thought they were being ripped off if all they got was a code to unlock material already on the disc but that is another story altogether.
