First Look: Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge |

Microsoft Game Studios' "Crimson Skies" places gamers in the role of daring air pirates in a fictional 1930s landscape where a shattered United States of America is ruled by gunship diplomacy and airship piracy. The transcontinental railroad and highway system, milestones in American history, have become treacherous avenues and civilization has taken to the skies to traverse allied countries. "Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge" combines thrilling aerial combat with the swashbuckling style of a Hollywood action-adventure movie. "Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge" lets gamers pilot up to 10 tricked out warbirds to fight against nefarious air pirates and behemoth war zeppelins.
If your looking for some serious fun in a combat plane, with the emphasis on fun, rather than serious (this aint your dads Flight Simulator) then Crimson Skies could be right up your alley. Seriously addictive with great graphics, sublime gameplay and with a seriously old skool soundtrack, Crimson Skies rocks!
 
 
Crimson Skies Features
More freedom of movement and action, including the ability to get out of one plane and into another, or into anti-aircraft guns.
In addition to many levels of missions, a Scouting mode allows players to explore the vast and colorful world of Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge at their leisure.
The game's flight physics have been refined extensively, making it easier to focus on winning the game, as opposed to flying the plane and winning the game.
Multiplayer mode has been beefed up. Originally, the multiplayer mode was going to be limited to a split screen on one Xbox console. Now, using System Link, as many as 16 Xbox consoles (one player per machine) can be connected to the same game.
Xbox Live connectivity has been added, also allowing as many as 16 players to play in the same game online.
 
 
Gamers have yet to experience online action this intense on a console. Pilots won't have to stay in their cockpits during online matches, as it's now possible to jump clear out of a plane and into stationary AA (Anti-Aircraft) guns for an added boost of firepower. Although Crimson Skies is based in the air, you won't find a flight simulation here—this game has been tuned for pure action with easy pick-up-and-play controls.

I gotta tell ya, I have this on PC and it´s pretty sweet - with Xbox live and having voice etc this is gonna rock. can´t wait to play it

this game is awesome I played it at E3, it was by far the best game I had a chance to play second to only steel Battalion. That picture say´s coming christmas 2003 I thought it was coming out sometime in october. Does anybody know when it comes out.

have you seen the trailer where the pilot is flying thru buildings and in the downtown area of a megalopolis?, or the blimp eating megablimp? and you can pilot a gyrocopter, steal planes and runaround on foot, and many many more aspects of the game that I can hardly name here. .... and yes Dethdaddy, you´ll be the @!*% one I shoot down,... just don´t changer yer gamer tag. LOL!
