Hello Everyone, Hedgehog Boy here, bringing another rousing round of backstage intel for you to salivate over! Actually, thanks to the masterful instructions of Ninja Fu Hiya for Kung Fu Chaos, the Hedgehog was able to penetrate the seedy underworld of the video game world like never before! Unfortunately some of Ninja's personnality seems to have rubbed off on your spiky rumor running buddy. So anyways you read the Hedgehog's newest stuff, before you make angry Hedgehog!
Whatever Happened to Short Names? Thanks once again to my partner in crime Cody, we've gotten some even more concrete evidence as to the existence of Knights of Decayden. On Jan. 30'th Microsoft registered a Typed Drawing with the TESS to obtain a copyright for KOD. even more interesting is that around the same time a similar Typed Drawing was issued for something known as Fallen Kings! My man Cody believes this could be the entire name of this mysterious game, Knights of Decayden: The Fallen Kings, what do you think?
The Hedgehog's Take First Tao Feng, now this game. why can't the developers make simple titles anymore!?
And You Thought the Commercials Were Odd There has been alot of talk about a possible Halo movie being made, and while it's still up in the air there is another XBOX series that is even more likely to be put on the big screen! Lorne Lanning's original dream for the Oddworld cast was to make them into a CG movie or an animated series. If I remember correctly it was his wife who concinved him to go game instead. Now that CAA is looking into acquiring the rights to Munch and Abe it certainely seems that the land of Mudos may see film time yet!
The Hedgehog's Take I don't care about a film as long as they hurry up with the next game already!
Hints From Singapore While the fait of the mystery games like Dungeon Siege X and Mobius are still unkown, both games were listed on the Singapore XBOX release list yet hastily removed, there's still cause to celebrate even if they were just typos! The list also contained release dates that placed the platformer Tork for May 2002 and even more surprising, Counterstrike was listed for April! Obviously these are just placeholder dates, but they do hint that maybe these titles are farther along then we first believed!

The Cell Unveiled For those of you who haven't played Splinter Cell you might want to stop reading right now as the following news bit does contain some game spoilers! For everyone else, the Hedgehog has obtained some classified Intel on Ubisoft's first downloadable SC level,"The Kola Cell", available in a few weeks. The word "Kola" has alot to do with it, as gamers will remember that the Kola Penninsula in northern Russia was mentioned in game right after the Kalinatek mission! You never actually went to the penninsula of course as your Osprey was then diverted to Myanmara! Sounds like you'll finally get to explore that secret Nuclear power plant after all!

That's it for this week XBOX365 the Hedgehog must now spend the next 36 hours balancing one legged on a pole over a pit filled with flesh eating weasels to prove his commitment to Kung Fu! Ah the trials of Ninja Fu Hiya's teachings our many, but ultimate enlightenment and butt kicking capabilities await the victor at the end! Or so he says, personnaly why I have to wear Cantelopes on my feet is even beyond my mighty intellect!

im not sure about making HALO a film. if they do they´d better make it outstanding. the MC doesn´t need a sh*tty film on his record. if they do it´ll be either excellent or a piece of A_S_S

Making Oddworld into a movie sounds more likely than a Halo movie. If they could market the movie right and get a notable production company to make the CGI movie. It could be very profitable. Hell i bet it could be more popular than toy story.

Great report, Hedge. Like always. Also, if you all wondering what "Mobius" is (used in hedges report), it is the planet that almost every Sonic game is based at and were the Sonic characters come from. But, from how he said it, it might be a name of a new game. Very strange.......
Anyway, I am not sure how well Halo would translate into a movie. But, Oddworld some seem like something that might be able to be made into some odd movie.

About Mobius. Interesting. I knew that Mobius was the home planet of Sonic. The thing that intrigue´s me is the on the Singapore release list. It listed Mobius as a Microsoft Studios product.
It makes me wonder if Mobius is a new game? Time will tell.

What ever Mobius is, it sounds like something far more dark and forbidding than sonics home planet. (sounds like a "serious" title)
speaking of serious, who´s more serious than the Master Chief, a genetically enhanced super-soldier, bred to thrive in theatres of death and destruction so intense it would drive an ordinary soldier over the brink of sanity.
Let not the makers of the Halo movie take the master chief lightly. let them not conjure up some frivolous fop in the mold of todays cigar chompin´, one-line spewin´, booze guzzlin´, romance ridden, cookie cut-out characature of the so-called "Hollywood Hero".
The MC does have much in common with the SPACE MARINES from the WarHammer 40,000 series however. Those Noble, Devout genetically augmented Warriors whose sole purpose in life is to die in the service of their "God Emperor", while battling the Vile Ruinous Forces of Chaos.
The movie makers need to acurately portray the MC´s attributes.
Like compassion: the master chief lavishes his tender mercies on prisoners, deserters, insubordinates, and enemies alike, with one expressive sympathetic jesture,..a bullet to the brain.. and a quick death.
And abstinance: while I don´t see the MC as gay (no offense anyone),.I also dont see him with a love interest. In order for the masterchief to focus on his primary objective, he has forsworn the taudry pleasures of the flesh,..so that he may not be distracted from his "Holy" task,.. the total anihilation of the Enemy of Man.
Spirituality: Is not the MC a priest of sorts,.. a Grand Bishop of Death. visiting the grim wrath of mankind apon Aliens, Xenomorph, and mutates,..yes..against those unclean species that blaspheme the entire Universe just by their profane existance...?
And Anonimity: No one gazes apon the master chiefs face,.. show the back of his head, maybe the ear lobe but the face stays completely off camera (and he rarely pulls off his helmet).
Hollywood, please dont dumb-down the Master Chiefs story, pimp slap the entire country out of ITS complacency and into an entirely new fresh awareness. Do something you hardly do anymore,..STICK TO THE DAMN STORY!!
