With no EA support behind it, it won´t be long. 2K3 sucks and I can´t even begin to describe how awful fever is. Call it PS1.5 or whatever, it´s still kicking xbox´s tail! Over 60 million units sold and counting... the hogboy knew it was a losing battle. He was on Microsoft´s jock so tough, they even had to tell him to take it easy. I can honestly say that xbox sucks because I gave it try. What happened to those 70 titles that were coming last summer? Where is online support for Madden 2003? 2k3 kicks Madden´s (and any/all EA´s titles) bad. Read the reviews and ask people who´ve actually tried them. true it´s not reflected in the sales but you can blame that on marketing and the EA brand name. No online on Madden since EA nose is too far up Sony´s crack it´s impossible to extricate them both.
Now then, Nintendo has seen a pretty massive surge of sales in UK/Europe recently thanks to the bundling and the coming of Celda.
And really, does anyone really care about Tomb Raider anymore? She was good for 2 titles but after that, downhill. Even putting on a new face will do no wonders for that old whore. I predict the same with happen with the GTA series. People will get tired of it in a few years. It´s hard to innovate when you deal with ultra-violence; someone will steal its crown someday.
It´s true though that Xbox needs more dev support. It needed them LAST year moreso than this. Not enough super-AAA exclusive titles that people care about. It´s up to Microsoft to promote them better. Panzer´s promotion was practically non-existent. DOA volleyball´s also wasn´t widespread. How else did Microsoft expect to sell the Xbox? Word of mouth and keeping silent? Geez. Somebody really needs to get fired in marketing.
