That´s right Jedi, I´ve been in school/military and now maried and still playing videogames. Damn, I remember when I use to take the three dollars my mom gave me to take the bus to school but little she new that I use to walk 35 minutes to school so I could save those three bucks for a new game!! Haha, now I have two (2) Xboxes, a PSone, PS2, N64, DreamCast, NES, SNES and I have no clue what ever happened to my old Atari 2600/5200/7800... Yeap, I had those too... (I did take a little vacation while in the military and never bought a Saturn/Jaguar.. 3DO was still too expensive for me in those days as well as the Sega CD...

I´m also a little old, but I don´t know, not a single mario game has bore me. So I´m not gonna pass it up. And yes I love my Xbox also.

I´m 45 and have been playing video games since the start back in 1976 ...., and I have owned them all I have Been There , we are just starting to see what we always hoped for in video games realistic looking graphics with awesome game play enjoy the games they will only get better with time what a ride it has been you are never to old to play video games you just get to see all the improvements as time goes by , and you have more time , and money to put towards the games enjoy ...in the old days we didn´t complain about the games, or the graphics we only had Pong, and only dreamed about what the future would be in video gaming.............what will PS3 , Xbox 2, and PC in the future bring also Game Cube 2 if they make one......Online gaming my end the console wars in the future it maybe a mute point consoles will just be a access point to a bigger gaming world on line , like differant PC brands getting you online we will all be playing against each other just with differant console hook ups.....

Hey dorklord, I guess you never owned a N64 then. When Nintendo, in all their wisdom, decided to keep the cartridge format, developers fled like rats off a sinking ship. The result was that gamers lost all hope of seeing some of the greatest games on their beloved Nintendo. They further proved to me that they didn´t have a freakin clue with the whole add-on fiasco. I lost faith in N from that point on. You can blindly follow them wherever you want, but I have moved on to bigger and better things. (Xbox)

I read this in this months oxm so all you hard core Nintendo only fans stay out of my butt. (Im a true gamer i love all systems provided it give me good games to play). You mention the N64 and their cart format. I remember seeing N64 carts for 75$ for new release! I don´t blame Nintendoe for going the route SEGA went. It´s not like anybody gets rich off the consoles. If they all figure it out nobody will make consoles anymore just games for consoles that nobody makes LOL

or more importantly horngreen, Just as in the PC world, Hardware folks will make the hardware and reap the benefits, and software folks will make kick ass software to acompany it. See, the beauty of microsoft, is that they know how to play all sides. They have a gazillion great first party developers kicking out games that fall between average and great. They also know the hardware market, and used the combined knowledge to produce something that no one else could make. It is remenicent of nintendo when they first started. Their hardware was revolutionary state of the art stuff, and they had amazing first party titles to boot. I think the crown is being passed on to the successors... microsoft and sony. So you´ll probably see nintendo bow out of hardware really soon. Sega already did it, and look at how well they´re doing! They had some kick ass first party titles, and decided to leave the hardware to the folks that know it best. I think that´s a strategy that works, and the numbers back me up!

Sony and Nintendo´s bad relationship probably dates back to Playstation originally being designed to be an add-on for the SNES (like Sega-CD). I look forward to Nintendo going software only because they really could be a lot more successful if they didn´t have to advertise and distribute their own hardware.

I´m 23 and have been playing video games since I wa sold enough to know what they were and Jedi you are dead on w/ the statement that XBOX is made for the older hardcore gamer. I remember playing Mario and Zelda when I was 10-11 yrs. old but O´ve moved on. I´m grown and I wouldn´t feel comfortable walking into my local GameStop and asking for a copy of "Mario Sunshine" for my small purple console. Give me Halo, DOA, Max Payne, Dead to Rights, etc.! I can´t wait for XboxLive and all the GREAT games coming out between now and the holiday season!

Nintendo isnt going software only anytime soon. Dont expect that to happen. MS is going to have a long hard battle with Nintendo and who knows how it will end up.

Jambi, you read that in the August issue, right? Well, in a story too long to tell, basically, OXM tells to many lies, and I am on a quest to sift through everything in matches of Xbox and find an Xbox site that gives me coverage but does not say bad things of other consoles, because I have Xbox, GameCube, and am getting a PS2 soon. PlanetGameCube is a great site for GameCube, so I´m looking for the PlanetGameCube of the Xbox universe, I guess you can say. Anywho, it all started one day when Iwata said that they will concentrate on games, not consoles. That´s when everyone thought he meant Nintendo wanted to go way of Sega. A few hours later, Nintendo cleared everything up, saying he was misunderstood. They will not advertise their GCN any longer, only the software for GCN. Nintendo will not go third party any time soon. Unfortunately, OXM conveniently "forgot" to tell it´s subscribers about the clear up, and, as if that weren´t enough, added about Nintendo not liking Sony and having a good relationship with Microsoft. If you read anything Nintendo, from Nintendo Power, Nintendo´s equivalent of OXM, to Nintendo.Com, better than offending it´s readers with negative stuff on other systems or companies, they just don´t say anyting about their competitors at all. I like their style. WTF? Nintendo has enough money to stay alive for the next 10 years, even if they don´t sell one system. Which is not happening since Xbox is in third place out of three.

Right! You call Microsoft´s XBOX launch a success? Well maybe initially it was, but it has all but dried up. We in the UK are having to wait until bl**dy September before we get any decent games, you can only play Halo and Project Gotham for 3 months (before you get bored). I´m sorry but at the moment I see no success in the UK, sales have been really slow, and lack of decent games is making me really bored. I am starting to consider ditching my XBOX and saving for a new PC. Nothing had better be delayed in September cos if it is then that´s the end of the XBOX in my book.

The Xbox has proven itself as a success in the videogame console market. There is no way to say that Microsoft will surpass Sony anytime soon. Sony is clearly the leader while Nintendo is in second because of being in the market longer than Microsoft. In time I believe Microsoft will be toe to toe with Sony but that will be some years before that really happen not because of the hardware but because of the fan-based and publishers. As long as you have people like Rockstar games being bought out for money and instead of using a more powerful machine like xbox to become more inovative.Then Xbox will have to use their own companies to gain gamers interest.As long as companies like EA continue to support Sony because of the fan-based and not trying to make a game as powerful and good as it can be then Xbox will have to fight harder. Companies like this is why other consoles do not succeed. The Dreamcast is not as powerful as the PS2 but it still stands toe to toe with PS2 in Graphics,gameplay and fun games...But what makes Dreamcast better is because they were more inovative..The first to go online, they had the visual memory unit( which I thinks was brilliant)..And everyone knows that Xbox is a more powerful machine but do publishers really use the Xbox full potential?..the answer is NO..because of the fan-based. Now they think that in the end they will succeed, but after about 10 years, if they´re still losing, then they´re going to have to leave. Why keep up a losing game? The reason Nintendo is number 2 is because they know the industry, and they know how to make awesome games. Tony UK: sucks that you guys are being ignored, but nothing really that exciting has come out hear, enclave and gunmetal are ok titles (i hear, not played em yet), but the real killer apps don´t come out here till September also. We´re all in the same boat.

As far as MS bowing out after xbox2, I highly doubt it. MS would not loose this much money now, and just give up. I think if they are still loosing money by then (which I doubt also just because of game sales and growing fanbase) then they probably would make the xbox2 more versatile, and try to branch out into other fields, and not just be strictly games.

Also, I would love to see some Nintendo games on the box, that would be great. Nintendo would probably try to do some sort of partnership deal with MS before just bowing out.

First they shouldn´t work together, because more competition means better games. Each company tries to make a game that is better than any game the other company has, then the other company matches that game, and so on and so on. And rest assured, Nintendo will not go third party. The only way I see them going third party is if Zelda GCN fails, which I´m pretty sure it won´t. And before you say anything, graphics aren´t everything. You didn´t fall in love with Zelda on the NES for it´s graphics.

Actually Loser Yoda when NES was released Nintendo ran a comercial for it (which you can download from KaZaA or Morpheous) which said straight out (and I quote) "Nice graphics! Like to get my hands on THAT game!" Now that I´ve smashed your pitiful comeback I´m going to rant about all of the other stupid things you have said. First off I own Xbox. I have friends that own both GameCube (well 1 friend) and PS2 and I can honestly say that in GameCube´s case the future is NOT looking bright near us. You see GameCube has a problem, well a few actually.
1. When they first announced the system they said that sequals where crowding up the game space and Nintendo will try and steer away from this. But after that I looked at their launch games and games in the works and I figured it out that at that point 68% of all GameCube games (mostly by Nintendo) were sequals of its franchises. Now I don´t know about you but this seems hipocritical.
2.It´s a small gay-looking purple cube with a handle (which Nintendo says you shouldn´t carry it with for long).
3. It runs on Mini-Disc (1.5GB). Great for music but not for games. This means that developers will either have to shorten their games, make them look worse, take out features, or (if its absolutely necessary) use more than 1 disk. But the problem with the latter is the fact that using an extra disk cost double and so on for each disk you add. Nintendo hasn´t made up for their carts yet and by choosing Mini-disk they just made it worse.
4. Now I´m a long time fan of Nintendo games like Mario and even Zelda but on the GameCube they´re not looking that good. Zelda is now cel-shaded (making it Celda as another poster put it and in my opinion it now looks worse than the N64 ones). And then theirs Mario. Sure I loved Mario. 6 years ago. I´m a little too old to go into a store and be like ´Hey where´s my Mario Sunshine?!´ Have you people even read the plot to that game? Mario goes on vacation (the first sign a plot is in trouble from repeats) and then what does he find? Dum Dum Dum. There´s sludge everywhere! Being the good guy Mario is he can´t stand for this so he sets out with his ´water cannon´ (*smack face with hand) and cleans it up by spraying water. Wow sounds like fun... if your 3. No this is not the game for me. Then there´s Metroid! Looks good, fun, and fresh. Then I found out this first person game is not a shooter! Sure you can shoot but that´s not what the game is. It´s an adventure! (*hit head into desk). Moving on...
5. Nintendo thought that after they switched to disks they would get all of this 3rd part support back (from when they were making the 8-bit and 16-bit systems). Nope. Sure they got some of EA and a few others but ONLY after these make games for PS2 and Xbox. GameCube is treated like a final system - if there´s time. In fact about half of the multiplatform games are only on PS2 and Xbox and that number is increasing.
6. Microsoft, even though they´re new to this console world, have studied it from the sidelines for a long time and have done everything right. They´ve even gone to little developers (once that don´t have a publisher and haven´t made anything that has sold millions) and they are giving them money, funding them to create great games that are only possible with the Xbox and a company that wants you to do your very best.

Just want to throw something else into the mix... xbox isn´t loosing money for one big reason. It is currently holding the record for the highest software attach rate of ANY console. Now, I remember way back discussions about selling software to make up for the loss taken in making the hardware. With the highest software attatch rate, I think the xbox is doing quite well, even if it isn´t selling as many units as the other companies. It´s all about the games, you see. Those that buy xbox (and those numbers are on the rise as well) are buying a ton of games. Everyone I know has baught more games in the first year of this system´s life (almost a year now) than they have baught for any other console in it´s first year. Hell, I have probably got as many if not more xbox games then I have n64 games, and how long was that system out? I was a diehard nintendo fan to the end, but they lost me with the lack of software. Needless to say, that if you look at the xbox WITH it´s software attatch rate, I´m sure you´ll see that it´s doing pretty darn kick ass. Go Big Green X!

He´s probably right. Microsoft sells a console for $199 then sells $250 in software. They must be close to breaking even on the consoles. Now the big one will be xbox live. If all 2million people MS says have broadband and the box sign up. MS should be doing quite well.

I liked Nintendo back in the 16bit heydays along with the Genesis. But they messed up with N64 eventhough a few hits saved them from disaster like Mario64 and Zelda but this time they´re gonna need a lot more than some classics and they ain´t got it. And the machine is UGLY. Thats why I can´t imagine getting it. It looks retarded next to my DCs, PS2s and XBox. At least N64 was a decent looking machine. Nintendo have lost market share each generation. People grow up but they don´t, won´t or can´t.

Well Rare is becomming smart and jumping ship before the wreakage that is Nintendo drags them down with them.

When will people like you learn that bigger isn´t always better. It´s not gay-looking, Xbox is gay-looking. What´s inside may be nice, but from the outside, when I stand back, it looks like I got a 1000000000 pound piece of black colored shit on my living room floor. The GameCube is sexy. But both our comments is opinion. Lets go for facts. If you want to take your GameCube to your next door neighbor, it´s more convenient if you have a handle than that giant black thing.

You can switch disks in the middle of the game, continuing game data and everything. Thus, infinite gameplay.

Again, opinion. Have you seen how fluid the game moves. Like if you were controlling a cartoon. Second, as far as Mario goes, you got the plot wrong. He is sentenced by the court to clean the gunk up and the police watches over him. It really shows your not a true gamer. Are you afraid of going into the store and asking for Mario? Are you afraid they´re all gonna laugh at you? Well, they wont, no one gives a f**k what you get at the store, and even if you did, you can just let them kiss your @$$ because you´ve got a game that´s FUN, I repeat FUN, and that´s all that matters. Who cares if it´s an Italian Plumber with a Water Pack. It´s fun to play! And if you´re not going to play a game because it´s "not cool", then you´ve got a real problem. Also, have you seen the original Metroid games? They´re adventure games! What a suprise! Metroid = Adventure. Metroid goes with adventure games. Metroid just wouldn´t be Metroid as a first person shooter.

I´m sorry, no one can do everything right. And the people who came closest to everything right is Sony. Microsoft has done tons of stuff that could have been done better. They said they wanted something fresh and original, and they already delivered the first one (Pikmin). And their theme for E3 2003 is fresh and original games. That´s not hypocritical.

Open your eyes! Most third party games send their games to all three consoles. And I don´t have numbers, but lets look at Star Wars games since there´s so many coming out.

So since last November to this holiday season, 2 games came out on GCN and PS2, 2 on PS2 and Xbox, and 1 Xbox exclusive and 1 GameCube exclusive. So that´s my version of one of those polls that ask 200 out of 200000 people.

One last thing, I think you understood me wrong. I love my Xbox. I love my GameCube. I will love my PS2. I am just pointing out the facts. I am not biased to one console. I´m sure everyone here knows Xbox´s strong points, I am just pointing out the inaccuracies when they talk about other systems.

Yoda, I praise you for owning all three systems. However, You do seem a little biased, and slanted. I´ll openly admit that I picked my side, and I don´t mind. I don´t have enough cash to spend on 3 systems and games. Personally (and this is my oppinion) I wouldn´t really get a gamecube even IF I had the money. From my vantagepoint, gamecube has not come out with a single game that screams MUST HAVE. I would LOVE to have a PS2 for it´s great games.. GT series, Metal Gear (comin´ to [X]), Final Fantasy, and many many others. Yet all of these games are powerhouses. Nintendo´s current lineup is lackluster at best. It´s suitable for a 4 year old. Heck, I´ve seen the commercials for the new mario game on TV, and I gotta tell ya, I wouldn´t be caught DEAD on the street holding a copy of it for fear of being deported! My own family would question my sexuality and my age if I had a game like that. It´s worse than barney for cryin´ out loud! See, I measure things up this way... I own a classic 66 mustang. I refuse to buy any game or console which wouldn´t look good sitting in my car. I think people would raise their eyebrows if I rolled over to my friends house with a GC strapped in the front seat. Let´s just face it... REAL MEN don´t own GC. Look at the damn titles of the games! MARIO SUNSHINE?????? HONESTLY! Wow. Anyways. I´m sure you´ll talk about how I´m missing out and how Super groovy the gameplay is, but honestly, I gotta tell ya... I´m not missing out, and I don´t care. If I can´t respect myself for buying a game or a console, it´s not worth buying, and there is no chance in hell that I could respect myself for buying a GC and it´s games. I´m 22, not 2.

First off I´d like to thank mediamogulx for holding the argument while I was away.

Secondly, Yoda, in your pick of Star Wars games you forgot to mention Star Wars Galaxies (for [x] and PC only). Therefore that´s 1 exclusive GC game and 12 exclusive Xbox games not 1. I also found if humourous how you chose the Star Wars franchise, seeing as its one of (like) 3 main third party developers for GC. Why didn´t you pick Tecmo? They have games on multiple systems. Or how about Konami? Nope you went with a Cube friendly developer, but I don´t blame you.

I agree with what mediamogulx said about not buying it even if I had the money and (right now) I´m saying that from a game perspective ONLY. Putting the hardware aside for now lets look at the amount of games out for each system. Now these are just estimates but I garuntee that if you go and count them all you´ll see I´m pretty close. PS2 has about 300 (if not a little over) games. Xbox (in second) has about 125 games currently released. Then there´s Gamecube with about 70-80 titles out. From those titles I´ve made a list of games (IN MY OPPINION AND THAT ARE CURRENTLY OUT) are must-have games or games that say something about the system. PS2: GT Aspec, Grand Theft Auto, and Final Fantasy. Xbox: Halo, Dead Or Alive 3, Project Gotham Racing, NFL Fever 2002. GameCube: Luigie´s Mansion, Sonic (which is really just a re-tooled Dreamcast port), Pikmin, Waverace. In looking at those, if you had a survey, I´m sure PS2 or [X] would win and NOT because of the hardware. Now if you throw in Mario Sunshine, then PS2 gets GTA4 and [X] gets Halo 2. Still I´m sure you´d find a stand alone looser.

I also liked your comment about Rare. It almost summed up the childish attitude you´ve been fighting for. Like a kid who know´s he´s lost always comes up with stupid responses. In your case it was ´No! Just wait and see´ (notice the indirect quotes so you don´t rail me for that one too.) Ok, so maybe I am a bit slanted. But I am trying to fix myself. I respect you mediamogulx. And Rombusters, first of all I have seen videos taken of the demo of Zelda. Not movies of non-gameplay. Videos of people actually playing the game. Also, there are more than 3 developers on GCN, but I´ll take that as sarcasm. I did not pick Lucasarts because they are "GCN Friendly". I didn´t even know they were "GCN Friendly". I picked them because they´re the development house I am most familiar with and will not miss any of their games. And Galaxies comes to PC this fall, but it doesn´t go to Xbox until next year. And vice-versa with Knights of the Old Republic going to PC. I said until this holiday season, that means ending in Christmas. Galaxies does not count. I don´t know what you heard but GCN actually has a good amount of third party support, not as much as PS2, but about as much as Xbox. You forgot Xbox lost a little of it´s third party support after it fell into third place. And seriously, "wait and see" is still my answer. There´s nothing official yet. Just wait until after SFA comes out, then if Rare goes to Xbox, well, that´s that. But you can´t use that against me until there´s something official. Right now it´s all rumor and speculation. Nintendo can make good games, you just have to give them time. Nintendo doesn´t release games rapid fire like Sony or Microsoft. They must take their time. But be patient, and they´ll release at least a few big hitters. Now, I don´t see why we must continue this senseless argument. I like the Xbox. I like the other systems as well. GCN doesn´t appeal to you. I understand that. If you want you can go to forums.zeldaglitches.com and see that I do understand that GCN doesn´t appeal to everybody. And yes, even though it´s called Zelda Glitches, the administrator and a few of the other members are PS2 fans. Just got Madden 2k3 yesterday and I think EA has finally hit the jackpot! The most unbelievable football game ever. I say that because I played Sega´s 2k2 which was in the display unit. 2k2 does not even come close to Madden! See for yourself and play the game. Excellent play by play from Al Micheals. They´ve just put my Xbox plans on hold, indefinitely. I doubted EA after playing NCAA 2003, but they,ve more than exceeded my expectations on Madden. I won´t even get started on Fever 2003. I´m not saying I won´t ever get Xbox, but between the PS2 and the Gamecube, It would be pretty difficult now.

Lately the question has been which system to purchase? Should I get PS2 or Xbox? Both systems are $199 and they both are next generation consoles. Both systems will have online capability. Now I asked the real questions. Why buy a PS2 and the Xbox comes with a harddrive,Ethernet port already built in the system and the price is still $199? Why Buy a PS2 and then buy memory cards when the Xbox comes built with a harddrive of memory giving you 50,000 blocks of memory? Why buy a PS2 when majority of PS2 games that made the system like Madden,NBA live,Silent Hill,etc... are better and updated games on Xbox? Those are some of the real questions that people need to answer. I own a PS2 and a Xbox. There is no doubt that Xbox is a better and more powerful machine than the PS2..Just compare the DVD quality of PS2 and Xbox and you will begin to see the difference..Look at How Max Payne looked and Played on PS2 and then take a Look at Max Payne on Xbox and PC..You will see the difference. Now Lets really compare..The SEGA Dreamcast is a 128bit system, the PS2 is a 128 bit system. Even though the PS2 is powerful than the Dreamcast it can still stand Toe to Toe with PS2. Soul calibur on Dreamcast plays and even looks better than Namco´s Tekken 3 tag on PS2. Now try to compare Dreamcast with Xbox and hands down you will say dreamcast does not have a chance to compare with the Xbox in graphics or games, I do not even have to mention power. there will always be exclusives permanently on each respective unit, so unless you want to limit what games you play to the system you own, then cool. I no more wanted to miss halo on xbox, than I wanted to miss final fantasy on ps2, or eternal darkness on cube. as we all know none of these will be on all platforms, so I guess the point I failed to make is that to me all systems shared a great disire to have ownership of. that is the point I was trying to make but got lost in bickering with TFC. its not a matter of cash, its a matter of how bad you want to play all games. to TFC maybe you don´t like the competitors, but don´t become jaded to think any system is the be all to end all, that is for the fan boys of ps2, not for the new age players of the more sofisticated XBOX

I hear you, I,m not easy to impress either, but you´re right when a xbox game hits the mark, damn it hits hard. it´s hard not to be impressed, look at this months xbox magazine´s disc, its´s crazy- panzer dragoon, blinx etc. One thing looks to be pretty clear in that sega seems to be a big part of xbox´s future; thank god cause I sold my dreamcast awhile ago!

GC = I like that it focusses at kids so that parents have a choice for their kids. I think the mini disks were a bad idea cause one, they are not as much a standard as dvd´s, therefore more expensive (not by much I´m sure). Also extra content is an issue. I read that a pro surfer game for xbox is coming with 2 hours of video footage on the disk of the pro herself. Now thats worth $50. Lastly, I saw someone the other day returning that mini monitor deal that is made for the GC because it would not shut all the way. Then they tried another and the problem persisted. LOL. The clerk said just don´t slam it and it should be fine. Sure.

PS2 = I like this system because it is the happy medium. It appeals to kids and adults. Another good thing for parents with young kids and teenagers. Plus it has a massive lybrary of games. I think though, that Sony has focused more on quantity of games rather than quality. Don´t get me wrong. Many that I read about make me salivate. But the level of mediocrity has made me shy away. I also don´t think Sony paid enough attention to the anti-aliasing problems that the PS1 had. I still see the same pixilation even when looking at rectangle menu systems with straight lines. Eek. Lastly, native hardware support for only 2 controls. I love them 4 player games.

Xbox = I like this system because it is geared towards me (an older gent of 26). I feel older gamers are more sensitive to graphical advances. We are always looking around the corner for whats next. Also, native hardware support for everything a high end graphics card can do (graphically and/or other things...) is a big plus. Especially, considerring that developers don´t have to worry about hardware differences. This means I can play a game with all graphical features enabled. Woohoo. Goodbye to dealing with the depression induced by a game that forces me to compromise quality for speed, even if my computer is a 1.56GHz with best graphics card money can buy. The only thing I don´t like about the XBox is that developers tend to not go the extra mile and fully utilize the power of the hardware. This is moslty caused by multi-platform development. Developers like to keep their games fairily close in appearence so that each market the game goes in will have a chance. Also development time is reduced a bit (It´s alot of work to make 3 versions of a game instead of 1).

Sorry for the long post. This was mostly for my own personal edification. And to hopefully shut those up who think an XBox lover can not see things from a wide perspective. Yes, I am bias, but for a good, well thought out reason. Cause believe me, I am not a MS fan.

BTW each system has its strong points and weaknesses and bye far gamecube comes up the shortest lacking the software we had to expect from it. Microsoft will never die neither will its products because they have an endless pool of money so when all of this console crap is over Microsoft will dominate the market. Ask yourself this what operating system do you have on your computer probably windows if not you have linux, apple or some other third party OS the point is Microsoft came into the market with Apple and took over they started with DOS and look at them now Windows XP!! THey will do the same with videogames this is only the beginning...

I used to own Dreamcast before I purchased and Xbox. In my opinion, the Xbox graphics are not a whole heck of a lot better than the Dreamcast. But the Dreamcast stopped making new games and I had $300 to waste on a new system. I would agree that the numbers for the Xbox sound more impressive. However, in terms of the aesthetics of the graphics, there really is not that much of a difference.

I directly have nothing against GameCube only that they are only limiting their ability to make games for the younger generation. I´m 18 and after 12 I got sick and tired of playing Mario and just jumping around now. I want Morrowind, Dead To Rights, Max Payne, HALO!! Piece of advice GC go after the older generation alittle more!!!!

It is like basketball. You can´t expect the new rookie from college (Xbox) to compete against last years World Champion Kobe Bryant (PS2) or the veteran Larry Bird (Gamecube) just yet. Let the Xbox be like Vince Carter: It took him until the Slam Dunk Contest to get momentum. That SDC for Xbox gamers is this holiday season IMO. So many great games will be coming out right before and right after Christmas (dammit why did they push back Panzer Dragoon Orta until January!!!)

Anyway, at this point in life, isn´t Microsoft doing better than how well Sony was doing? I think they are, but if not, at least they must be close.
