E3 marked the first time that StarCraft: Ghost was shown to a wide audience. Using the six million plus selling StarCraft series as a backbone, Blizzard Entertainment is attempting to revisit their roots in the console market. StarCraft: Ghost also gives developers and gamers alike a chance to explore, in great detail, the characters of the StarCraft universe for the first time.
In StarCraft: Ghost, players take the role of Nova, a lethal Ghost operative trained in the arts of espionage and tactical combat. Twenty years of ruthless physical conditioning and techno-psychological instruction have transformed Nova into a being of terrifying potential. As she progresses through a series of story-driven missions, Nova is required to engage in a number of dangerous infiltration operations and deadly planetary battles. To complete Nova's mission objectives, players must execute intelligent tactical decisions while mastering an advanced arsenal of sophisticated weaponry and Nova's own psionic abilities.
 
As Nova players will be able to:
Utilize a Wide Range of Elite Ghost Abilities- Outmaneuver your enemies at sonic speed
- Infiltrate bases and sneak past guards using the cloak ability
- Lock down vehicles and electronic devices to immobilize them
- Engage in both face-to-face firefights and planet-scale warfare
Leverage the Resources of an Entire Army- Call down massive Battlecruiser and Siege Tank strikes
- Take control of familiar StarCraft vehicles
- Wield a variety of familiar weapons, such as the Gauss Rifle and Perdition Flamethrower
- Join your allies in battle and do your part to ensure mission success
Experience the World of StarCraft in 3D- See the world of StarCraft on a personal level
- Visit familiar planetary settings
- Explore 3D environments designed for strategic interaction
- Use the camera to find unique strategic possibilities
- As Nova, players will be able to scale fences, hang from wires, climb poles and scale walls, and negotiate tightropes
Unveil the Next Chapter in the StarCraft Saga- Experience story-driven missions complete with multiple plot twists
- Play a crucial role in the rich StarCraft history
- Engage in combat with a variety of fully rendered units from the StarCraft universe, including the Terran, Zerg, and Protoss
 
In addition to utilizing Nova's special abilities to carry out covert operations, players can call in offsite support ranging from comsat sensor sweeps to all-out tactical nuclear strikes. As they advance through the game, players will have the ability to operate a number of vehicles, unique to the StarCraft universe, including Vulture hovercycles and Arclite siege tanks. Also, to aid them in combat, players can go into a zoomed-in sniper mode from anywhere in any level, using Nova's modified C-20A canister rifle.
 
StarCraft: Ghost features highly stylized character models, over-the-top special effects, and immersive 3D environments that reward creative exploration. The game's deeply evolving story line takes full advantage of Blizzard's StarCraft universe, so Nova will encounter locations and enemies both new and familiar-many of which will be seen in full scale for the first time.

Im real dissapointed by the low scores for brute force...real shame

Well I am only 2 hours into the game = BRUTE FORCE! But hold on for a wild ride! This one could give HALO a run for the #1 spot.
Do not rent buy this one today! "ONLY ON XBOX!!" LOL ;-)

Starcraft is being shaped and molded into an excellent addition to the rapidly growing xbox library of outstanding titles,..
Although I would like to stay and wax eloquent about the subject in my usual longwinded yet articulate prose,.. I´ll spare you all and cut it short as I have unfinished business with the Bodaciously Rowdy Brute force,.. after a couple of hours of viciously satisfying game play(systemlink squad death match is OFF DA CHAIN !!) I can see right now that we(the game and I) have to get better aquainted.

Starcraft Ghost is the best Sc game out there, it is awesome, i tried a demo the other day ;D....although i wish it was for comp like all the other SC games...
