Heads Up: ESPN NFL Football

Wow !!!! That´s a neat idea .. this looks like it could give madden a run for its money this year on the x box due to online play and i like the unlockable cribs idea

Like I said in another thread, I have a genuine feeling that this will be the game to own come football season. I am a hardcore 2K fan and was shocked it didn´t thrash Madden in sales this past year. Being the immense football fan I am, 2K3 had everything to wet my palate. Madden was so watered-down and just pussified compared to Visual Concepts masterpiece. The implementation of a @!*%-person mode will ultimately make this upcoming game the pinnacle of sports gaming mastery...I mean, c´mon, imagine playing under the helmet of your favorite player, seeing what he sees, hearing him breathing or his ass pounding the dirt...I sure as hell know I´m gonna take Ricky for another rushing title. Keep your eyes peeled football fans. This game is gonna ruin Madden´s shit.

shit this is awesome,dont care to much about football but sega did a good job on this one almost looks like doa volleyball. pool,jukebox, somekind of table game not bad.but i just dont care for football games but might buy this one when price drops.what is that other table on the left looks like air hockey.

I don´t care about no cribs. This ain´t The Sims. The @!*% person thing I think is a waste, too. They needed to focus on gameplay and Franchise mode and an off season implementation. All this other stuff is too gimmicky.

EA SPORTS is still the best game developer company out there for sports games, You guys are just all mad cuz they went online for the ps2 and not for the xbox, who cares!!! There still good man! They got the best graphics and one of the most realistic type sports game. There better then Microsoft sports studios, Sega, 989 Sports and midaway! We just have to face it, Ea is not online for Xbox and only for PS2 and PC! Give up the grudge, better shut your mouth!! Why you gotta judge everyone but Microsoft! Ea wants to go with Sony, so let them be! I have a ps2 and Xbox, so im not a ps2 fanboy!! I love my axbox but i love my ps2 as well. The Playstation BB ans Ea Sports will be just like Xbox Live when its up and running soon with all of the feature s on Xbox Live: full voice chat in gameplay,netmasking your voice with the new sony headset, downloadable conent to the hard drive for ps2 in @!*% quarter of 2004 and live scoreboards with world rankings and buddy lists as well, so dont make fun of EA! They are the Pros!!

I never been a football fan until Sega 2k Sports came into play on the Dreamcast and have been hooked to a fast paced energetic play then Maddens boring stay in the pocket and toss away all day.

I do like the stat tracking thing that the Madden series implemented by allowing stats to go from MAdden 2004 and on after that.

DO i wish Sega 2k Series had that...nope. I´ve always been happy with their work and cant wait till the release of all the ESPN 2k4 series.

U cant wait to for the PS2 to get their famous HArdrive so u can finally have a buddy list like XBOXLIVE, downloadable content like XBOXLIVE, Lagless voice chat like XBOXLIVE, come on dumbass open ur eyes. My last point is going to the crummiest publisher EA(electronic asses). AM i mad that that they dont have any LIVE enabled games? No.

For Sports i have SEGA, not a big MS fan since fever has passing all day game like madden. but it´s looking good for the hockey.

For FPS i have UBI,Bungie,Valve,Codemasters(Operation Flashpoint) and many many many more. EA can hold Battle Field 1942.

For RACERS i have Project Gotham 2, Moto GP series0, Midtown Madness, Midnight Club, SEGA GT online, another Capcom online RAcer, and many more.

In conclusion when EA makes u pay 5 monthly bucks or whatever plan they decide to charge to play madden 2004 online will be the day when u really go...hmmm...$50 for voice chat, buddy list, lobby chat for friends, scoreboards, downloaded content, etc...or monthly payments to play a SPORTS GAME!!!!! on PC, or PS2!!!!! because EA thinks their games get any better or innovative on every new title...I think i´ll stick to XBOXLIVE & play SEGA SPORTS, XSN, UBI, BUNGIE, ETC for $50 yearly and then buy True Fantasy LIVE Online pay the monthly fee and still know i have access to go back and play any other online enabled game for $50 yearly bucks without having to worry about EA charging me monthly payments for a NON-MMORPG game.

you guyz are all lucky. you get different options in your sports games. i live in england, and we love our football (soccer to you guyz).
i have to watch ps2 owners enjoy pro evolution whilst i have to force myself to play fifa, because it´s the only option i´ve got (even with no live play).
i hate EA, but atleast they are willing to give use our ´soccer´ games whilst microsoft and sega just think of the rest of the world outside america is non-existence. and we all know konami ain´t bringing thier great pro evolution titles to us, but yet they are given it to gamecube (even though we have better sales outside of japan).

I have to ask all X-Box owners to have patience for these video game enthusiasts, that are loyal to their choidce of consoles. I myself was a huge nintendo fan since console one and had a hard time accepting defeat from playstation 1 when nintendo 64 came out. Even though 64 had a better console ps1 blew it out of the water and it was tough on me.
Alas, X-Box was born and I had a place to turn to and felt great joy inside that I didn´t buy a PS2 or cube (thank you guy at toys r us). Was it wrong for me to hate ps2 for winnig the console battle cause it wasn´t a war in 1996 or so? Yes, and this is what most of these gamer are facing and may eventually realize. So let them vent, then get spent, an soon repent. Ahem.

Thanks Godfather and Dominator for putting these EA ass-lickers in their place. The sad fact is the obviously better product has these douche bag fanboys knocking it and making complete and utter asses of themselves. I don´t want to get too carried away...but to say Madden is better is disheartening at best. ´Guy´, have you played owner/franchise mode on 2K3...it doesn´t get much better than that...until 2K4(ESPN Football 2004) comes out. For your sake, lets´s compare the two products. Have you seen the level of detail put into 2K´s player models...My God I can even see Jay Fiedler´s big Jew nose-don´t worry i can say this as a jew). Madden has two player variation models-white & black...yep. Let´s call a spade a spade, OK, Maddens players hobble on the field like freshly raped corpses...with no fluidity. While I´ll admit 2K isn´t always for the casual fan it gives us hardcore NFL fans a deep and engaging mode of play. And let´s not forget Madden updating every years rendition of their game with Sega´s game of the previous year. Sega has mastered the defensive side of the ball, unlike any footbal game ever. Now Sega is implementing a 1st-person mode, yet again redefining the genre once again. And this Crib´s idea is just icing on the cake, since they already have the franchise and gameplay down like flies on shit. I know it hurts, EA pussies, but the truth hurts...your reign of shoddy football is coming to an end. Long live King Sega. I´m out...

Oh by the way Vegeta, I hear winnning Eleven 6 is a great "Futbol" game.

I have bought and probably will be 2k again this year, but I must admit Madden does some things better and has some features that you just think "why doesn´t 2k have that? it seems so obvious". And you don´t see RB´s and WR´s getting run down by DT´s in Madden. If that gets fixed and the gameplay is sped up I´ll definitely buy 2k4 this year. Otherwise I might have to give one of its competitors a try. I just can´t deal with a slow playing sports game. 2k3 definitely was slow playing - especially compared to previous 2k´s.

It is only going to be between SEGA and MICROSOFT this year for me. Shit, I will probably just buy them both!

Visual Concepts has always been about innovation,progress and enhancing their games. EA are just a bunch of stuck up prima donna bitches who will recycle any crap for the mass of brainwashed ingrates who can´t even appreciate TRUE sports simulators and who would rather play sports games that are more easy and arcadey. Visual Concepts has been taken for granted and disrespected for far too long. I for one salute them and say that they are the best damn sports games developers on the planet! God Bless you VC!
