Xbox Live Takes it up Another Notch |

Xbox Live. The mere words make giants tremble. By giants I mean Sony, Nintendo and EA. Microsoft launched Midtown Madness 3 on Monday and immediately took the crown from Midnight Club II as THE reason to buy Xbox Live.
Xbox couple with Xbox Live make for a killer-combo. If you haven't got XBL yet - go get it. We got MM3 last week, and it's like video-game cocaine. I can't get enough of it, every time I crank the game up, I spend 5 hours playing online against fellow Xbox live players with scary names such as "Thallid, Johnnyheadwound, Mr Untouchable, Texas Gamer and Slaylock".
This summer promises to be a blockbuster for the Xbox. MCII, MM3, The Matrix, Wolfenstein, MotoGP2, Medal of Honor, Soul Calibur 2, Outlaw Volleyball: Spike or Die, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Dino Crisis 3, Gladius and the Pirates of the Carribean. PHEW! It's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes...
Follow that up with the launch of XSN, the Xbox Sports Network, which will include the most comprehensive online stats package ever. Then smack the competition up this fall with Music Mixer, a revolutionary integration of music and games, and Xbox will be looking like Rocky Balboa, coming out of nowhere to knock out the champ and leave him wondering what the hell just hit him.
Ok, I'm rambling (nothing new) stop reading this, go get XBL, get MCII and MM3 and kiss-goodbye to the outside world for a couple of weeks....

dude, we´re from the same blood. MM3 rocks the house. Xbox live is what differentiates xb from ps2 and gc. nothing wrong with the other consoles, but live is where it´s at.
microsoft have realised that to increase the longevity of games, downloadable content is the way to go.

I for one can´t have LIVE right now, but when I get my new house built its right up there at the top of my list of things to do! ;-)

This game really has "captured the "gold" over Ghost Recon and Mechassault for me. All I think about now is how I am going to get home and get online to play. It´s that good of a game.

And Johnnyheadwound!!! I played with this fool, great gamer. He has one of the best xbox live names (IMO)

I hope that any company thats afraid of XBL, not only trembles, but I hope the **** their pants. Online totally rules, and we all know that for a fact. Xbox will only get better, trust me. I already reserved my copy of Soul Calibur 2 a few days ago. I cant wait for the actual game to surface, and then we will truly see whats what. I only wish that SC2 had Live Support. NOw about Moto GP 2 online.......
And Granpa, do you know where ´Last Bandicoot´ is ? I wonder why he hasnt put anything up that shows his ´Xbox loyalty´(hyuk!)

DeeLux: You are going to have to get in a match with us. I am telling you, we have some great sessions. We are rolling all night talking crap to each other.
I think what makes this game even better is the social aspect of it. We start talking about other games coming out, what games suck, etc. while we are racing at over 200+mph, 10 feet apart fromn each other in game, chasing the fool with the rabbit. What other game can you do that? Who chats about various subjects while playing GR or MA? Not very likely.
This game is cleverly done. Hats off to DICE and MS for making this game truly the best experience on LIVE to date.

Woohoo, picked this title up for $40 on sale at Fry´s, and I´m glad I did. I´ve been a fan since I got MM2 on PC and played online, but not nearly as smooth as LIVE.

Yeah, all this sounds great, but the reason that XBL was created is for Halo 2!
I can´t wait for that game to come out, it will own all other games for all other systems.
