I´ve beat the maw on Legendary co-op, and got a "different ending," but it was basically one amusing scene longer. Someone told me that if i do the entire thing on legendary it´ll be different than what i saw. This true?

Maybe beat the last lvl on easy and then on hardest cuz if you beat the whole game on easy except the last on legandary you still get the longer ending. Maybe it´s the same for the gun thing?

Just to clear things up, that code is not true. I work for the microsoft company and there are not many codes for the Halo game, if i get any info in on a new versions of Halo or new codes i will notify you as soon as posible.

You know what? The code described above is too thin in explaining how to execute. And not to diss this site, but this is only Xbox365. I don´t think they´d get any codes before anyone else. Think about it? Why do game developers put codes in there games? To increase replay value. Almost always when there is a high profile game, codes aren´t released or even programmed in.

Do you mean how to get ghosts and the tank into multiplayer? Well you can just create your own multiplayer game and choose what to put making the settings.

It´s simple, why don´t you just try it and stop wasting your time argueing! Beat The Maw on easy and legendary in under 3 hours, and if that doesn´t work, beat the whole game, start to finish, on easy and legendary. MAYBE YOU´LL GET THEM! MAYBE I´LL CARE!

The immaturity I´ve been seeing on these posts is quite sickening. They make these things for one another to collaborate, and help each other. But all I´m yet to see if quite literally, ignorance and misplaced anger. The game is a good game, in itself, one cannot deny that. And yes, some of you might have other preferrences, that is your opinion, keep it to yourself, or express yourself better, you just end up looking like a prick. As for the codes? I doubt seriously you´re ever going to get any codes for Halo, maybe a few little hints, tricks or things you can do to make things easier, but likely, its not going to happen. When in doubt, try it. What I have heard though, from many other sites, is that you can hold 3 weapons instead of one, if you beat it on legendary, or something of that sort. I don´t know haven´t tried...but it might be worth some peoples time to try out.

The thing i have trouble with is getting the banshees to fly to the third pulse generator. It´s on legendary so that don´t help but if any one has some tips let me know.

Look all of you people that can´t beat Halo within 3 hours suck! I´ve beaten it on easy and then legendary within 1 hour. The weapons code doesn´t work it´s all a bunch of crap, so you don´t have to try it out. This game isn´t that hard.

I am not supposed to tell, but I have played a debug copyof Halo. The way to get extra weapons, a new human vehicle(able to use it in multiplayer),new body colors, and laser grenades you must beat the game 20 times in any difficulty setting. Did you really think that they would make it as easy as beatinig it in 3 hours. 20 times will take some time but its worth it. I will try and get a picture of each of the weapons and send pictures to the different xbox websites as soon as possible(probably within a week after my scanner gets fixed cause I cant afford a digital camera and my pc camera is to blury. If you are to lazy to beat it 20 times wait til the gameshark comes out. Sometime in the summer!lol!

about the extra weapons, i haven´t tried it yet but if look at the first edition of XBOX MAGAZINE the one with Halo featured. Look at the picture of Master Chief and he is holding a FLAMETHROWER. I don´t know if it made it into the final version of Halo but hey it might be true.

Also, I don´t believe the new guns cheat. Most games like Halo don´t have cheats. It is a disapointment, don´t think that I wouldn´t like to play through the game with God mode, infinite ammo, and all guns, but it is still the best game I´ve ever played, and I will continue to play it, extra guns or not!!!

I have a great new sniping possition that is actualy a glitch in the sidewinder multiplayer level. Take the tank by the blue base and drive it up the sunny cliff on your right.Park it by the entrance to the portal so that it is facing the large pine tree and let the front right tread just barely hang off the edge of the cliff.Now take the ghost and drive it up the cliff, ramp off the tank, and you should be way up on top of the cliffs and you will be able to see the entire level!!! It is GREAT!!!

It will probably take a few tries to get up, but it´s worth it!!!

Look, if Bungie says there are no cheats like that, then there aren´t. Bungies a great company thats been providing satisfying games over the years and it has no reason to try to lie to you. There are some glitches like shooting threw glass in one place in ´The Maw´ and you can hear piano music in a certain area. Yes you can get out of a ghost into a room full of silent enemies, but thats mostly it. Sorry, no guns, no cheats, and NO DAMN REPLAY VALUE IN THE GAME!

I dont think there are any codes not saying there are not saying there not. i got the two new wepons i beat it in 2 and a half hours
the wepons are a new plasma gun that you can charge up and it shoots out three large plasma blasts
and the other gun is a gun that shoot gernades and bulets

I dont know if the person that posts the cheats on this site created this lie or if this person got it from somewhere else. u get 2 guns. they are worth it but at the same time they are not. The ammo u get with the gun is it, u can find no new ammo. One gun is the annialator. It´s basicaly like the rocket launcher in that it shoots a missle, but there is a big difference, the missle moves slower and upon striking something will annialate anything close to it´s vasinity. about the impacet of 10 grenades. So stay clear when u shoot! Good Luck

well, I came from Starcraft, so i can tell u guys now that ive heard the most amazing bullshit you could ever hear from other peeps... the game halo is really good, but, to be honest, the reason all these PS2 fans say the graphics suck is because they are right.HOWEVER the reason behind this is that microsoft came out too early with the xbox. there was no time to use the FULL capabilities of the xbox for games.. think of it as a race. ps2 and gamecube are in the lead, but for different reasons. ps2 has so many F***in games for it that it was an immediate choice for all the impatient people that didnt want to wait a WHOLE friggen year. gamecube came out a year later, and had already worked on the value of their games. xbox, on the other hand, desperately tryed to catch up with the two so the time alotted wasnt sufficient enuf to spend on cleaning up games....

SO THE POINT IS IS THAT PS2 FANS THAT DISS XBOX IS GONNA BE REALLY SORRY IN ABOUT A HALF A YEAR

It´s pretty sad that some of us have to lie to get a stimulating satisfaction of some kind. my cousins and friends do it also . so do large companies . Is this site about hooking one an another up with ligit info or just a drug or reason to to keep playing halo, and getting stimulated of lying and giving false information. The game is amazing! Graphic wise the best I have ever played. Perfect Dark on n64 was like this game but no comparison on an overall level.The only things I´m dissapointed about are. (1) only being able to have 2 players in the campaign. (2) There are no plyer profiling of staistics , EX #of kills.(3) They could have added a few more guns. This is the reason everyone is frustrated.

Well people i´m new here and i´ll tell you i didn´t beat the game once, me and my brother just got to the last level and couldn´t beat the last part when ya need to get to the ship in 3 minutes, he was screaming in my ear while i was driving so ya know what it was kinda hard to drive with his ass yelping in my ear, i kepted flipping and crashing almost made it there but time ran out and so we turned it off after trying 3 or 4 times on that part and then the next day we brout it back to Blockbuster because we were renting it, but i am for sure buying the game soon not sure when but A.S.A.P, and i hope the gameshark does come out soon, so i can have alittle fun wit the game i can´t waite, and i could give a fuck less about the extra guns its just guns, we have enough for the first installment of Halo 1, soon as Halo 2 comes out everyone will shut there damn mouths and be happy for what they have, more guns more levels and more killing and blood, just the way it should always be, well PEACE OUT HALO AND XBOX FANS you may be seeing more of me soon.

I´ve played the game through legendary, and I´ve found it slightly dificult, even eith help. Save Me! I´ve beaten the game on easy and am trying to beat it on heroic. I´ve beaten a few levels on legendary, but I digress. Here´s my situ, I am at Truth and Rec, in the 2nd part of the shuttlebay, drop ship has come and gone, my men are dead, 1 actually was executed by me personally as a result of failure to get outta my goddam way; at any rate my power on restart is at 1 measley red bar beneath a faded blue pistol outline. The overshield is available, however the health kit is not. I have 1 plasma grenade 2 frag grenades and two more frags available across the room. The next wave is coming in diagonally across from me consisting of 1 sheilded covenant and 3/4 grunts with either needlers or green plazers. If I move they see me immediately and attack, I can´t get far. If I cahrge them the 2/3 overhead guys nail me, if I go back and arond to shuttlebay sideone I discover a different wave coming in and I can´t reach the door I entered by. Short of restarting the entire level, any suggestions? cuz I´m gettin´ my azz handed to me in a bizzare fashion plus the wife wants me to go to bed. Please respond A.S.A.P.

i went to bungie.net and they cleared up alot of stuff like the beat the game in 3 hours on easy then legendary it is a lie plus more. oh and 007 i think they all did it by going threw the maw on easy then legendary it can take about 2 hours at the most. i can beat the maw on legendary quit fast and on easy i made it threw the driving part with 1.45 minuntes to spare. oh and richi sounds like you are in quick sand i cant help you.

for starters, Halo is the best 1st person & multiplayer game ever, i´ve spent many sleepless nights infront of this standout game, but there is just one thing that it really misses, for those who have played Unreal Tournament in multi you can play by yourself against other computer controled enemy´s, but Halo lacks this, you can only play against other human players so what am i to do after i´ve beaten the game?

There are so many better games to get addicted to than Halo. Yes, when I first got it, I faked sick so I could stay home from school and play it. But after that it got old. There are several times where its easy to get lost or forget which way you came from. I mean, I´m not for 100% shoot ´em up games, but what fun is relizing you just spent 15 minutes going in a circle. And the one part where you walk to the double doors and they move, and the room is in a circle shape and where you come in is on the outside, When I beat it, I must have seen that room 15 times, I don´t know if I got lost, or you had to. Either way, It should be somewhat obvious is you are going the wrong way. The gun selection is poor. The last gun avaliable is found half way through the game, they should spice it up by putting new guns in every once in awhile to keep the gamer guessing. And all of you addits, get over Halo! The reply value is terrible, once you beat it, you can either beat it agian, play against some friends on some weak maps, or play together with only one person. What if you dont have any other gamers near by to play with? The only option would be to play it over and over, which it already seems like happends when u play it just once. So why dont you just burn you Halo CD into liquid form, put it into a syringe and shoot it up, you addicts

I´ve beaten the game on all settings them i found this cheat about the 2 guns thing so i tried it and i beat easiest (maw) in 15 minutes and ledgendary (maw) in about a hour. this code is B U L L S H I T!!!!!!!

halo has no cheats, no secrect areas and no secrect anything else. maybe a name cheat of some sort may surface but I am highly doubting it. legendary is not much harder than heroic except for a few tightspots. the extra scene in the legendary ending is not so special. and why would someone ask micro$oft about halo?????? bungie made the game and have a halo section on their site. There is Not a two weapon cheat at all. Nothing exists. Everyone here go to Bungie.net the makers of the game and they will tell there is no cheats and if there was they wouldn´t make you beat legendary in three hours. Trust me

the coad does work i got the two guns they are a rocket loncher thet shoots 3 missils at a time and zooms in 10k insted of two and the other isa better machine gun that kills enemys as easy legendary as easy.

I´ve finished Halo, purchased the strategy guide and been to every Halo site I can find (official and un-official) and I can tell you that there are no cheat codes at all, the ´2 extra weapons cheat´ above is a lie someone made up. In some screenshots you may see a strange looking gun with a face on it. This is the flame thrower. It is in the PC version and was in the beta versions for Halo but was removed for the final version. There are no cheats or secrets. (There is an extended ending if you beat ´The Maw´ on legendary. It shows a human and a covenant fighting hand to hand then the human says "Its over" and they hug then get nuked.) P.S: In regards to the 2 extra guns cheat you can tell it is fake by looking at this page; people have said these guns are: Timed bombs, Fuel Rod Cannons, Alienaters, Tilshlub, Tatwu, Super Rocket Launchers, Laser Grenades and etc. with a alot of made-up guns. To solve the 2 Guns Problem. It is part true, part untrue. If you beat "The Maw" in legendary setting too fast, the game says it is "corrupted" next time you put it in. Nothing is wrong with the game, just keep trying till it lets you play. The game gets glitched, combining the plasma rifle and plasma pistol into 1 gun. This was not inteded by bungie, its just a glitch. My cousin and I ran into this when trying to get the "Able to hold extra weapon" cheat. Im serious and the outcomes of the 2 "glitched" weapons arn´t real good, it only combines plasma rifle with plasma pistol, and assault rifle with a pistol. But if your lucky it will comine the rifle and pistol in the way to use a 2x scop on assault rifle, that was useful!

there is actually two ways to get 2 weapons not found in regular play. you can beat the game, including every level 20 times, or you can beat "the Maw" once on easy and then once on Legendary within three hours. it is not that hard. the weapons are one similar to the plasma gun used by hunters and a larger sword than the one used by invisible elites. to use the sword, press fire to activate/deativate, and melee to attack.

you beat everysetting in 2 hours and 30 minutes, you get a list of cheat codes which include special anal probes and an apple pie

Damn the lot of u! Personally, I wish that that 2 guns cheat were true... but I have been let down one too many times. My friend, said that if u get full ammo in your guns and full grenades, w/o killing anyone, waste the ammo & grenades it´ll give u the guns... Proven untrue, it just leaves u COMPLETELY screwed! and now, tomorrow I will have to beat his ass down.
